French novelist. Born 1925 in Paris, France; sister of Benoîte Groult.
With sister, wrote the novels Journal à quatre mains (1962), Le féminin pluriel (1965), and Il etait deux fois (1967); also wrote Belle ombre, Le coup de la reine d'Espagne, Maxime ou la déchirure and Memoires de moi. Won Prix Gallia for Il etait deux fois (1968).
