Glass, Joanna (1936–)

Canadian playwright. Born Joanna McClelland, 1936, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada; m. Alexander Glass, 1959 (div. 1975).

Studied acting at Pasadena Playhouse; received Rockefeller and National Endowment for the Arts grants and Guggenheim fellowship; plays include Canadian Gothic, American Modern, Artichoke, The Last Chalice, To Grandmother's House We Go and Play Memory; novels include Reflections on a Mountain Summer (1974) and Woman Wanted (1984).
