Ferguson, Debbie (1976–)

Bahamian runner. Born Jan 16, 1976, in Nassau, Bahamas; graduated with honors from University of Georgia with a biology/pre-med degree.

Known as one of the "Golden Girls," won a gold medal at Sydney Olympics for 4×100-meter relay (2000); won a gold medal for 4×100-meter relay at World championships (1999) and a gold medal for the 200 meters at Pan American Games (1999); won a bronze medal in the 200 meters at Athens Olympics (2004). Given the Silver Jubilee Award (1998) and the Bahamas Order of Merit (2000).
