Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803–1882, Transcendentalist), Sept 14 1835; children: Ellen Tucker Emerson (b. 1839); Edith Emerson (b. 1841); Waldo Emerson (1836–1842); Edward Emerson (b. 1844).
The 2nd wife of Ralph Waldo Emerson, became engaged to him in Jan 1835; though he called her Lidian, was known in his journal as Asia, Queenie, and Queen of Sheba.
