Danilova, Maria (1793–1810)

Russian ballet dancer. born 1793 in St. Petersburg, Russia; died of consumption, Jan 8, 1810, age 17, in St. Petersburg.

Studied with Charles-Louis Didelot at Imperial Ballet; performed with same company throughout short life, creating roles in all Didelot's works at the time, including Les Amours de Vénus et d'Adonis (1808) and Cupid et Psyché (1810).
