Cooper, Miriam (1891–1976)

American silent-film actress. Born Nov 7, 1891, in Baltimore, Maryland; died April 12, 1976, Charlottesville, Virginia; m. Raoul Walsh (director), 1916 (div. 1926).

Star of Kalem Company (1912–13); appeared in D.W. Griffith films Intolerance, Home Sweet Home, and as Margaret Cameron in Birth of a Nation; other films include Evangeline, Serenade and Kindred of the Dust; retired from the screen (1924).
