Buzonas, Gail Johnson (1954–)

American synchronized swimmer. Name variations: Gail Johnson; Gail Johnson-Buzonas. Born 1954 in US.

Won 11 national championship titles, including consecutive outdoor solo titles (1972–75) and indoor solo title (1972), indoor and outdoor duet with Teresa Andersen (1972–73), and outdoor duet with Sue Baros (1974); won a gold medal for solo at Pan American games and World championships (1975). Inducted into International Swimming Hall of Fame.
