Popular fashion model, began working for Eileen Ford; appeared on over 500 magazine covers, including the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issues (1979, 1980, 1981), the 1st model to appear on 3 consecutive covers; was spokesperson for Breck, Prell, MasterCard, Chanel No. 19, and Diet Coke, and had a long-running contract with Cover Girl; had tv series "Living in the 90's with Christie Brinkley" (1992); appeared in the films National Lampoon's Vacation and Vegas Vacation.
