Aron, Geraldine (1941–)
South African playwright and screenwriter. Born 1941 in Galway, Ireland; moved to South Africa, 1965; spent most of her life in Zambia, Zimbabwe, and South Africa, living in Cape Town.
Plays include Ber and Ger (1975), Mr. McConkey's Suitcase (1977), Joggers (1979), Zombie (1979), The Spare Room (1981), My Brilliant Divorce and Spider; plays collected in Seven Plays and Four Monologues (1985); wrote screenplay Toscanini for Franco Zeffirelli.
