Stylommatophora (class Gastropoda, subclass Pulmonata) An order of predominantly terrestrial gastropods that have two pairs of tentacles. Forms with and without shells are common. Eyes are present at the tips of the posterior pair of tentacles. The order first appeared in the Mesozoic.
