Endospermum (family Euphorbiaceae) A genus of soft-wooded, fast-growing trees in which the leaves are large, often peltate, with stellate hairs. The fruits are globose, indehiscent, and leathery. The trees produce a light, general utility timber. There are about 12 species, occurring from China and South-east Asia to Fiji.
