Deuteromycotina (Fungi Imperfecti; division Eumycota) A subdivision that includes an assorted assemblage of imperfect fungi in which perfect states are either unknown or classified in other subdivisions. The subdivision and its constituent groups are convenient categories and not true phylogenetic taxa.
