Creediidae (subclass Actinopterygii, order Perciformes) A small family of slender-bodied, marine coastal fish that have a protractile mouth, spineless, long, dorsal and anal fins, and the lower jaw lined with skin tufts (cirri). There are about three species, found in S. Africa and Australia.
