Cneoraceae (spurge olives) A family of small shrubs which bear flowers in axillary cymes, the peduncle fused below to the petiole. The flowers are tri- or tetramerous, their parts free on an elongated receptacle. The ovary is 3- or 4-celled, forming 1–4 small drupes in the fruit. There is 1 genus (Cneorum) of few species, occurring in the Mediterranean region.
