Basidiomycotina
Basidiomycotina (division Eumycota) A subdivision of fungi in which the sexually produced spores are basidiospores. The subdivision includes most of the familiar macroscopic fungi, including mushrooms, toadstools, bracket fungi, etc. Most are saprotrophic, but some are parasitic on plants.
