ILGA, BL.
Recluse; d. c. 1115. Ilga (Hilga, Helga) is said to have lived as a recluse in Schwarzenberg (in the forest of Bregenz). According to tradition she was the sister of Bl. Merbot and Bl. Diedo. Persons suffering from diseases of the eye used to visit a spring named for her. She has never been canonized.
