Sahasrāra

Sahasrāra (Skt., ‘thousand’). The lotus (padma) or circle (cakra) which exists at or above the crown of the head, at the top of the suṣumnā nādī in the Tantric esoteric anatomy of the subtle body. It is the place where Śiva and Śakti are united enjoying perpetual bliss. The sahasrāra is attained through the yoga of Kuṇḍalinī.
