Mikhail Mikhailovich Ippolitov-Ivanov (mēkhəyēl´ mēkhī´ləvĬch ēpəlyē´təf-ēvä´nəf), 1859–1935, Russian composer; pupil of Rimsky-Korsakov at the Moscow Conservatory. His work best-known outside Russia is the suite Caucasian Sketches (1894).
