FEW, WILLIAM (1748–1828)

William Few represented Georgia at the constitutional convention of 1787 and signed the Constitution. He attended the Convention irregularly (leaving to attend Congress), spoke infrequently, and served on only one committee. He afterward served as a senator and federal judge.
