Palestinian institution, founded in November 1996 in Geneva, for the purpose of supporting economic and cultural development of the Palestinian autonomous territories. The most important founders of this organization were wealthy businessmen of Palestinian origin, such as Abdul Mohsen Qattan, Jawid al-Ghossein, Abdul Majid Shoman, Hassib al-Sabbagh, and Munib al-Masri.
