Oradour
Oradour a French village west of Limoges, in full Oradour-sur-Glane, which in June 1944 was surrounded by the SS division Das Reich. All but a few of the inhabitants were massacred, and the village was subsequently burnt. Oradour has never been rebuilt, and its ruins still stand.
