Fructidor
Fructidor the twelfth month of the French Republican calendar (1793–1805), originally running from 18 August to 16 September. Also, the purge of conservative deputies that took place on the eighteenth day of this month (4 September) in 1797. The name comes from Latin fructus ‘fruit’ + Greek dōron ‘gift’.
