Career: Composer. Began career as a classically trained pianist; toured with pop band Fifth Dimension, c. 1970s; Zaza Sound Productions Ltd. (a post-production facility), operator.
Awards, Honors: Genie Award (with Carl Zittrer), best music score, Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, 1980, for Murder by Decree; Genie Award nomination, best music score, 1985, for Isaac Littlefeathers; Genie Award nomination (with Peter Simpson), best original song, 1987, for Bullies; won several Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) awards.
