Full name, Kevin David Sorbo; born September 24, 1958, in Mound, MN; son of Lynn (a junior high school biology and mathematics teacher) and Ardis (a nurse) Sorbo; married Sandra "Sam" Jenkins (an actress), January 5, 1998; children: Braedon Cooper, Shane Haaken, Octavia Flynn. Education: Attended Moorhead State College (now Minnesota State University, Moorhead) and University of Minnesota Twin Cities; studied acting in Los Angeles; trained in the martial arts with Douglas Wong. Avocational Interests: Playing guitar, sports, golf.
