Full name, Tia Dashon Mowry; born July 6, 1978, in Gelhausen, West Germany (now Germany); daughter of Timothy (a police officer) and Darlene (a personal manager; maiden name, Flowers) Mowry; twin sister of Tamera Mowry (an actress); sister of Tahj Mowry (an actor). Education: Attended Pepperdine University; also studied at Young Actors Space. Religion: Christian. Avocational Interests: Sports.

Career: Actress. Appeared in commercials, including advertisements for Chrysler, 1988, Frosted Cheerios breakfast cereal, 1996–97, Double Mint chewing gum, 1998, and Old Navy retail stores, 1999; worked as a model and appeared in pageants; appeared in Express Yourself, a series of public service announcements.
