Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada; sister of David Cronenberg (a film director, producer, and writer). Education: Graduated from Ryerson Polytech; studied ballet at the American Ballet Theatre.

Career: Costume designer and producer. Appeared as a ballet dancer with the Royal Winnipeg Ballet; appeared as a dancer on CBS variety shows for fifteen years, through 1983.
