Description:

Independent Roman Catholic, university, coed. Awards bachelor's, master's, doctoral, and first professional degrees and post-master's certificates. Founded 1885. Setting: 78-acre urban campus with easy access to Minneapolis. Endowment: $314.1 million. Research spending 2003-04: $338,371. Educational spending 2003-04: $10,569 per student. Total enrollment: 10,474. Faculty: 817 (400 full-time, 417 part-time).
