Description: Independent, comprehensive, coed, affiliated with Evangelical Free Church of America. Awards bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees. Founded 1962. Setting: 150-acre suburban campus with easy access to Vancouver. Endowment: $4.5 million. Total enrollment: 3,520. Faculty: 138 (77 full-time, 61 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 18:1. 1,759 applied, 77% were admitted. Students come from 10 provinces and territories, 29 other countries, 33% from out-of province, 15% 25 or older, 40% live on campus. Retention: 79% of 2003 full-time freshmen returned. Core. Community Environment: Trinity Western is set on a wooded 100-acre campus, adjacent to the Trans Canada Highway No. 1, between Langley and Fort Langley. Students enjoy the solitude of a rural environment and have easy access to the beautiful urban center of Vancouver, just 45 minutes away. Public transportation is available off University Lane.
