Beta Sigma Phi-VCT Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To increase access and success of Shoreline Community College students; to attract, encourage and assist talented students enrolled in Fine Arts programs at SCC. Focus: Fine Arts. Qualif.: Applicants must be full-time or part-time students at the Shoreline/Lake Forest Park area who are enrolling at SCC; applicants must have demonstrated strong academic improvement in the last three semesters. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the academic performance and financial needs.

Funds Avail.: No specific amount. To Apply: Applicants must complete the application form.

Boeing Company Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To increase access and success of Shoreline Community College students. Focus: Manufacturing; Engineering; Information Science and Technology. Qualif.: Applicants must be full-time or part-time students at the Shoreline/Lake Forest Park area who are enrolling at SCC. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and financial needs.

Ivan Braga Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To increase access and success of Shoreline Community College students. Focus: Surgery. Qualif.: Applicants must be part-time or full-time students who are currently enrolled at Shoreline Community College. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on the academic performance and financial needs.

Co Dental Hygiene Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To increase access and success of Shoreline Community College students. Focus: Dental hygiene. Qualif.: Applicants must be full-time or part-time students at the Shoreline/Lake Forest Park area who are enrolling at SCC. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and financial needs.

Dr. Princeton L. Co Emergency Fund for Dental Hygiene Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To increase access and success of Shoreline Community College students; to provide emergency assistance for Shoreline Community College dental hygiene students who are in need of financial assistance. Focus: Dental hygiene. Qualif.: Applicants must be currently enrolled as full-time dental hygiene students at Shoreline Community College; must be survivors of domestic abuse; must be Washington State residents for a minimum of one year; must not have previous two or four year college degree; must earn and maintain minimum cumulative GPA of 2.50 (minimum GPA of 3.0 in dental hygiene course-work); and must not be currently included on the Scholarship Selection Committee or related (first degree) to a person on the Selection Committee. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic standing and financial needs.

Carli Edwards Memorial Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To increase access and success of Shoreline Community College students. Focus: Criminal Justice. Qualif.: Applicants must be returning or part-time students at Shoreline Community College; must be survivors of domestic abuse; must be Washington State residents for a minimum of one year; must not have previous two or four year college degree; must be criminal justice majors; must earn and maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (GPA of 3.5 in criminal justice coursework); and must not be currently included on the Scholarship Selection Committee or related (first degree) to a person on the Selection Committee. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic standing and financial needs.

Funds Avail.: $200. To Apply: Applicants must complete application form; must submit letter of recommendation from teacher, professor or employer (excluding criminal justice faculty); statement or documentation of income and need; and unofficial SCC transcript.

Friends of Mary Automotive Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To increase access and success of Shoreline Community College students; to provide financial assistance to women in the automotive program. Focus: Automotive technology. Qualif.: Applicants must be full-time or part-time students at the Shoreline/Lake Forest Park area who are enrolling at SCC. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance and financial needs.

Ken LaFountaine First Nations Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To increase access and success of Shoreline Community College students; to provide First Nation students (indigenous to the Americas and associated territories) with financial assistance in times of need. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be returning or part-time students at Shoreline Community College; must have demonstrated active involvement in the First Nation community in the Puget Sound area, either on campus or in the broader community; and must not be currently included on the Scholarship Selection Committee or related (first degree) to a person on the Selection Committee. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic standing and financial needs.

Funds Avail.: $300. To Apply: Applicants must submit evidence of likelihood of academic success with a minimum of 2.0 GPA or 2.0 during most recent quarter attended; evidence of the other venues of financial support; letter of recommendation from a teacher, professor, or employer.
