Melvin Kruger Endowed Scholarship Program (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To provide financial support for students continuing their education and training beyond high school. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicant must be a student who needs financial assistant to continue his/her education. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected base on the academic record and financial need.

Funds Avail.: $5,000. To Apply: Applicant must visit the NRCA for further instruction and information regarding with the scholarship.

Roofing Industry Scholarships (Graduate, Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To assist employees, immediate family of employees or immediate family of NRCA contractor members, who plan to pursue post-secondary education in college and vocational programs. Focus: General studies. Qualif.: Applicants must be full-time employees, dependent children or spouse of NRCA contractor members who have a minimum of one year of employment with the company as of the application deadline date. Member companies must have been a contractor member of NRCA for a minimum of one year as of the application deadline date. Applicants must be seniors or graduates who plan to enroll or students who are already enrolled in a full-time undergraduate course of study at an accredited two or four year college, university or vocational technical school. Criteria: Scholarship recipients are selected based on academic record, potential to succeed, leadership and participation in school and community activities, honors, work experience, a statement of educational and career goals, and an outside appraisal. Financial need is not considered. Final selection of recipients is made by the Alliance board of trustees.

Funds Avail.: $1,000. To Apply: Applicant must complete the application form on the website and mail it along with a current complete official transcript of grades to Scholarship America, One Scholarship Way, PO Box 297, Saint Peter, MN, 56082. Deadline: January 31.
