CPCU Laman Educational Foundation Scholarships (Professional Development/Scholarship)

Purpose: To recognize professional scholarship applicants who demonstrate the desire to enhance their career by becoming a CPCU. Focus: Insurance and insurance-related fields. Qualif.: Applicants must have a minimum of two years employment in the insurance industry; must be studying the CPCU program; and must not receive full reimbursement for the course, books, etc. from their employer or any other outside source. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance.

Funds Avail.: $50-$1,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form.

Founders Circle Professional Scholarships (Professional Development/Scholarship)

Purpose: To recognize exceptional commitment to the insurance industry. Focus: Insurance and insurance-related fields. Qualif.: Applicants must have at least five years continuous insurance industry employment; must have demonstrated excellence in educational and career endeavors; and must engage in a course of study designed to improve knowledge and skills in performing employment responsibilities. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance.

Funds Avail.: $1,000-$2,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form.

Insurance Scholarship Foundation of America College Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote excellence in the insurance industry by underwriting the education of current and future employees. Focus: Insurance and insurance-related fields. Qualif.: Applicants must be candidates for a bachelor’s or higher degree with a major in insurance, risk management, or actuarial science; must be currently attending a college or university and be completing or have completed the second year of college; must have successfully completed two insurance, risk management, or actuarial science courses having a minimum of three credit hours each; and must have achieved at least 3.0 grade point average on a 4.0 scale. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance.

Funds Avail.: $500-$5,000. To Apply: Applicants must submit a completed application form.

Insurance Scholarship Foundation of America Professional Scholarships (Professional Development/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote excellence in the insurance industry by underwriting the education of current and future employees. Focus: Insurance and insurance related fields. Qualif.: Applicants must have at least two years of insurance industry employment; must be engaged in a course of study to improve knowledge and skills in performing employment responsibilities; must not be receiving full reimbursement for the expenses of tuition, books etc. from an employer or from any other outside source; and must have a background that indicates the applicant’s motivation. Criteria: Recipients are selected based on academic performance.

Marsh College Scholarships (Undergraduate/Scholarship)

Purpose: To promote excellence in the insurance industry by underwriting the education of current and future employees. Focus: Insurance and insurance-related fields.
