Description:

Independent Roman Catholic, comprehensive, coed. Awards associate, bachelor's, and master's degrees. Founded 1886. Setting: 107-acre suburban campus with easy access to Detroit. Endowment: $14.3 million. Educational spending 2003-04: $4918 per student. Total enrollment: 2,235. Faculty: 221 (95 full-time, 126 part-time). Student-undergrad faculty ratio is 14:1. 1,368 applied, 82% were admitted. 21% from top 10% of their high school class, 45% from top quarter, 78% from top half. 12 valedictorians.
