Vauthier, Louis-Léger

Vauthier, Louis-Léger (1815–1901). French architect and engineer. He settled in Recife, Brazil, in 1840, designing the layout for the town's development as well as several buildings, including the Santa Isabel Theatre (1840–6). He returned to Paris in 1846.
