Pietilä, Frans Reima Ilmari
Pietilä, Frans Reima Ilmari (1923–93) and Raili Paatelainen (1926– ). Finnish husband-and-wife team of architects responsible for the Kaleva Church, Tampere (1966), with its inward canted walls and tall window-strips. Among other buildings were the Congregational Centre, Leisure Centre, and Shopping Hall, Hervanta New Town, Tampere (1979) and the President's House, Mäntyniemi (1984–93).
