Mangiarotti, Angelo (1921– ). Italian architect. Much influenced by Mies van der Rohe and Nervi, he evolved refined systems for building using prefabricated concrete units. With Bruno Morassutti (1920– ) he designed the starkly simple Mater Misericordiae Church, Baranzate (1957), and on his own the Marmi and Machine Offices and Exhibition Building, Carrara (1989–92).
