Clason, Isak Gustaf

Clason, Isak Gustaf (1856–1930). Swedish architect, whose works drew on the Arts-and-Crafts movement and on Historicism. His Nordisk Museum, Stockholm (1890–1907), is an essay in the free Northern Renaissance Revival style. Other works include Östermalms Market Hall (1885–9), the Carpenters' Hall, Stockholm (1915–27), and Mårbacka House, Värmland (1920–2). He influenced National Romanticism.
