Brukalski, Stanisław (1894–1967). Polish architect. He and his wife, Barbara (1899–1980), were pioneers of International Modernism in their country, specializing in public-housing developments, and were members of CIAM. They also designed the interiors of passenger-liners, including the Batory, Piłsudski, Sobieski, and Chrobry (1927–38). Among their works the Warsaw Housing Co-operative Housing Colony VII, Warsaw-Zoliborz (1930–4), deserves mention.
