Allom, Thomas (1804–72). London-born architect, articled to Francis Goodwin (1784–1835), Allom's skills gained him employment as a topographical artist: he was a frequent exhibitor at the Royal Academy, and often produced drawings for his fellow-architects. His designs include St Peter's Church, Kensington Park Road, London (1855–7), and some spectacular ranges of stucco-faced houses in Kensington Park Gardens (1850s).
