prednisolone
prednisolone (pred-nis-ŏ-lohn) n. a synthetic corticosteroid used to treat rheumatic diseases, inflammatory and allergic conditions, and some cancers. It is administered by mouth or rectally, injected into joints, or applied in drops to treat eye or ear conditions. Trade names: Deltacortril Enteric, Deltastab, Predenema, Predfoam, Pred Fort, Predsol.
