DTaP/IPV/Hib n. a primary immunization given to infants typically at 2, 3, and 4 months of age. It protects against diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), polio (inactivated polio vaccine), and Haemophilus influenzae type b infection (see Hib vaccine).
