Leon Titche once told CA: "I cannot pinpoint any particular motivation for writing, other than there is often a tremendous urge that exists, which places me in a totally different world. My influences have been varied, but mainly German poets of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries; and American poets, such as Ginsberg, Kerouac, Robert Penn Warren, William Carlos Williams, and John Berryman. However, Kierkegaard, Nietzsche, and Kafka also have been at the forefront."
