PERSONAL: Born 1912, in Eustis, FL. Education: Attended Rollins College; studied at Denishawn New York School of Dance, 1930.

CAREER: Denishawn (dance company), began as chauffeur and dresser, became ensemble dancer, 1931-32; Ted Shawn's Men Dancers, Becket, MA, lead dancer, 1933-40; dancer on stage in New York, NY, 1948-58, including appearances in Annie Get Your Gun and Broadway productions of The Golden Apple and My Fair Lady; Jacob's Pillow, Becket, MA, dancer, choreographer, and teacher. Also taught at Springfield College, Springfield, MA. Military service: U.S. Armed Forces, entertainment specialist, 1942-46; served in Europe; became sergeant.
