Born May 23, 1937, in Santa Domingo Pueblo, NM; died, 1987. Education: Attended Native American school in Santa Fe, NM; studied art with Jose Rey Toledo.
CAREER:
Painter, potter, bead maker, and textile artist. Exhibitions: Work represented in group exhibitions, including shows at Heard Museum, Hastings College Art Center, and Wheelwright Museum of the American Indian; work collected at Center for Great Plains Studies at University of Nebraska, Heritage Center Collection at Pine Ridge, SD, Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, National Museum of the American Indian, and Museum of Northern Arizona. Military service: U.S. Navy.

Numerous awards, 1967-87, including award from Heard Museum Guild Indian Fair and Market, 1968; Bialac Purchase Award, 1969, 1971; Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial Award, 1969; annual awards, Philbrook Museum, 1970-71, 1979; awards from Scottsdale National Indian Art Exhibition, 1970, and Red Cloud Indian Art Show, 1971; Keney Award, 1971-72; Avery Award, 1977; and Elkus Award.
