SIDELIGHTS: Robert Kent Johnston worked in Japan for the Evangelical Covenant Church in 1965 and in Geneva, Switzerland, as a financial analyst trainee in 1969. He has studied in Belgium and participated in an archaeological expedition in Meiron, Israel. Johnston told CA: "[My] vocational interests include the relationship of Christian theology and culture. This includes particular interests in the movies and theology, the relationship of literature to religion, and the relevance of Old Testament wisdom literature for the contemporary individual."
