SIDELIGHTS: Michael Hershorn told CA: "'You love to write' is what Dr. Bachrach said when he read my first psychological evaluation report during my internship. He is right and I valued his opinion, because Dr. Bachrach is a prolific contributor to professional journals. I have had my share of journal publications. Recently I have wanted to reach a larger audience by writing psychological self-help books. I have specialized for twenty years in the area of anger management. It was natural to focus on this area in my first two books.

"In the style of Dr. Oliver Sacks, I am working on a collection of psychological case studies from my experiences as a practicing clinical psychologist. Dr. Milton Ericksen believed that one could help people to change by telling them stories. My goal is to help readers to change by sharing the inspirational stories of some of my patients."
