PERSONAL: Born October 21, 1957, in Iowa City, IA; daughter of Arthur N. (a sales manager) and Margaret (a teacher; maiden name, Humphries) Cherry; companion of Audrey E. Lockwood (a financial planner). Education: University of Iowa, B.A., 1979; attended International Christian University, Tokyo, Japan, 1982-83; Pacific School of Religion, M.Div., 1990.

Thirty years and three books later, I was invited to be included in Contemporary Authors. It just proves that some dreams really do come true."
