Bruce J. Avolio is an educator and coach who specializes in business and leadership training. He has consulted with corporations and organizations around the world, offering leadership training and advice in North and South America, Africa, Europe, Southeast Asia, Australia,New Zealand, and Israel. In addition, he has worked with military groups in the United States, Singapore, Sweden, Finland, Israel, and South Africa. He has written numerous articles on the subject of leadership, as well as several books. In Full Leadership Development: Building the Vital Forces in Organizations, Avolio provides insights into ways to develop a strong working relationship between a leader and a follower, regardless of the circumstances. Journal of Leadership Studies critic Michelle R. Rucker called the volume "very interesting with stories from his personal life to support the full leadership development model."
