PERSONAL:

Born March 29, 1906, in Chihuahua, Mexico; murdered May 10, 1977, in Murray, UT; son of Byron Harvey Allred (a politician); married multiple times. Education: Attended a college of naturopathic medicine.

CAREER:

Chiropractor and author. United Order Effort (fundamentalist, polygamist religious denomination; later renamed Apostolic United Order and Apostolic United Brethren), member, beginning c. 1933, ruling assistant, 1951-54, leader, 1954-77.
