Togni, Camillo
Togni, Camillo, Italian composer; b. Brescia, Oct. 18, 1922; d. there, Nov. 27, 1993. He received training from Casella in Siena and Rome (1939-42), attended the Parma Cons. (diploma, 1946), and studied philosophy at the Univ. of Padua (graduated, 1948). After composing in a neo-Classical vein, Togni embraced the 12-tone method.
