Seedo (Sidow or Sydow)

Seedo (Sidow or Sydow) , German composer; b. c. 1700; d. probably in Prussia, c. 1754. He was active at London’s Drury Lane (1731–34), where he contributed music to several stage pieces. About 1736 he went to Potsdam to work with the Royal Band.
